Our next monthly meeting will be on Wednesday 2nd May from
7-9pm.
Wellness Walk
31st March 2018 09:30-11:30
For this month’s Wellness Walk funded by
Avon, we will be staying local. Northampton’s historic and beautiful Delapre abbey is reopening to the public next week after a 4 year refurbishment project.
We thought it may be nice to have a wander
round the grounds, park and enjoy some refreshments in the Orangery cafe.
There will be the option to go into to the
Abbey if anyone would like to.
Wednesday 29th November 7-9pm
Next month’s monthly meeting will be a Festive Fizz & Quiz
night.
All the usual chat, drinks & cakes with some festive spirit thrown
in.
We will be holding a team quiz on the night with prizes and a
raffle.
Look forward to seeing you all for our last event of 2017 ?
We have been invited to an evening at the Dunstone Bennett suite in Northampton by
the complimentary therapy ladies.
On the evening they will have their experienced volunteer who both trains people in
complementary therapies and runs her own successful practice to come along and talk about reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Massage treatments.
Christine will talk about the Centre and the services they provide in the
community.
All the guests will have the opportunity for a taster session of Reiki or massage and
refreshments.
There are only 16 places so book early to avoid disappointment

Due to the popularity of this event, it will need to be restricted to 15
members.
If you would like to come and watch/ join us but not have a consultation you will not
need to be included in that figure.
If you are feeling fabulous after and would like to show off, I though it might be
nice to go for a drink next door at

This month's meeting we thought it would be
nice to build on the talk from Nisha last month and provide the opportunity to get creative.
We have a ceramic artist coming in giving you
the opportunity to get the chance to try ceramic painting.
Many of you talked about what gave you
strength and what you are grateful for, even at such a challenging time.
We thought it may be therapeutic and fun to
get the opportunity to give thanks to these things, whether for you to appreciate, or as an opportunity to give thanks to others.
Breast Friends Northampton will cover the
costs but will have a donation box if anyone would like to contribute (instead of the raffle - which will be free).
It's the annual Harpole Scarecrow festival this week and one of our ladies is kindly selling cakes and donating the funds to Breast Friends Northampton.
We are lucky to have such supportive members who are helping to look after each other.
Look out for our logo!!
If anyone would like to get baking, all cakes would be gratefully received.
As part of our commitment to Wellbeing we will be holding our first Wellbeing Walk on Thursday the 17th of August. This is a chance for a gentle stroll through the beautiful Firs at Harlestone, enjoying fresh air, exercise and nature. Bring along your furry friends!!
Meet at Harlestone Firs car park at 7pm: Harlestone Road NN5 6UJ
Optional drink afterwards at the nearby dog friendly Fox & Hounds pub: Harlestone Road, Lower Harlestone NN7 4EW
Huge THANK YOU to the Lewis Foundation
July's meeting saw The Lewis Foundaion visit our members at Breast Friends Northampton. Lorraine brought papmer packs for all of our members to enjoy. We are lucky to have the support of The Lewis Foundation, not only to treat our members, but as a successful, established charity they have been invaluable us.
